Manga jumping to partway through a chapter

I've never had it happen with a novel but very regularly on going to the next chapter of a manga it will jump to over halfway through instead of starting with the first page. It seems to be something tied to the right-to-left format which is why it only happens with manga?
I typically read on my Android phone using chrome, however I've had it using desktop chrome on windows, too.
It drives me more than a wee bit nuts since it's not always obvious it's happened. It would be great if this bug could be fixed.

That's happening to me too! Only in manga, and I read right-to-left.
Opera on Windows.IIRC it never happens in the first few chapters, but it often does for the fourth or fifth chapter of a volume.
I almost always read entire volumes, so I go from chapter to chapter through the "next part" link, or rather by just pressing left on the final page.

It's definitely more annoying than it sounds - it's sometimes hard to notice, and it jumps far ahead, near the end of the chapter, so it often leads to spoilers.

Today it happened to me in Archdemon's (Friend's) Dilemma, not sure which chapter, and in Dragon Daddy volume 2 when opening chapter 11.

Also Endo and Kobayashi vol. 3, when opening chapter 12, and vol. 4, when opening chapter 14 (from the end of previous volume).
Lady Rose, vol. 4, chapter 20.
That makes for a single chapter in everything I've read today.

Huh, so apparently it could happen in novels too. Just now, Girls Kingdom vol. 2, first time opening part 9, it jumped to page 20.
Isn't it suspicious how often it's opening the part before the last one that there's a problem?

I wondered how it works with stuff that I've already read once, and since I'm re-reading Sometimes Even Reality I was paying close attention. Again, reading whole volumes, progressing from part to part by left arrow key...
Vol. 1 part 3 jumped to page 9.
Part 6 jumped to page 18.
Vol. 2 part 16 jumped to page 10.
Part 19 jumped to page 9.
Vol. 3 part 29 jumped to page 13.Can't make no sense nor reason of how this works.

Oh, but this is rare! Two chapters in a row!
Young Lady Albert (manga) jumped ahead in both chapter 17 and 18.
