Now that S2 has been greenlit, what was it you liked about S1 and what are your hopes for S2?
In my case, I guess I'm constantly amazed by how much I loved S1 despite its low (and occasionally abysmal) production quality. I've seen it described as a bad adaptation of a bad LN, and perhaps at some level I wouldn't disagree, so does it all come down to how much you can identify with the characters?
As @Lily-Garden said, Amane & Mahiru’s initial relationship was based on the agreement that he wouldn’t fall for her, and thinking back, I was personally in that type of situation some time ago so maybe that's why I liked it so much. For me, it's an exploration of how initial hostility can turn to friendship and then friendship to love, and that really resonates with me.
Anyway, now that Mahiru and Amane have officially become a couple, where do they go now? I'm up to date with the official English LNs but that only takes it one volume beyond what was animated and as you can probably guess, there's not a whole lot of progress.
