@paul-nebeling No, I don't think the character got completely eliminated. Looking at AniDB I see it listed, and it also appears in the OP with his golden armor. But they certainly cut his screen time, I think he will show up...

@terabyte We'll see. His somewhat bombastic attitude does add to the humor. I would really hate to not have him show up at all.

@paul-nebeling In the preview at the end of Episode 2 we hear him saying that he should release the two girls. So he will make an appearance in the next episode.

Just finished watching the simuldub - really enjoyed this first episode, and the voice acting wasn't cringy either, it seems a decent dub.

@fozzedout Yeah, I just watched and I thought they did a good job with the dub. Felt like they made good casting choices for the main three.

Just finished watching Episode 4. Loved the animation of the White Nova. Really don't feel like they are trashing the source material. Just about to get into the bit with Shera's brother. Can't remember where that is in the LN though.

They just finished the first book and are moving on to the second.
I'm really liking this anime. It's a good adaptation and a lot of fun.

Around which volume is that in the novels? How is the anime doing in terms of adaptation? Master of Ragnarok adaptation is an abomination. I'm tempted to pick up the novels now more than ever.

That's volume 2. The anime on CR is unfortunately severely censored (using alternate shots instead of covering things up) as compared to the satellite TV version.

@guspaz That makes me wonder where that one subbing site with horrible quality gets its episodes. I haven't really noticed the censorship.

@guspaz actually the version CR is streaming is the satellite TV version. The uncensored is reserved for the expensive AT-X Japan-only subscription service.

How to not summon a demon lord is available in English dubbed or not I saw only 3 episode's with eng dub I need more also hard to find eng sub version

yes it is available in english dub, Funimation is doing a simuldub which means that the episodes are released in english about 2-3 weeks behind the live broadcast in Japan, episode are released every Wednesday, they released episode 4 this week.
Though to watch them you would need to be a FunimationNow subscriber, it's not a free service.

Yep, I'm following it on the dub through Funimation as I don't pay for CR - and it's pretty well done.
You know, it's strange, the quantity of fan service of both Demon Lord and Master of Ragnarok I would guess to be about the same, but it doesn't bother me as much as Master of Ragnaok does.
I'm looking forward to the, uh, "releasing" of Krebskulm and how this will be handled in the anime. They can't show what it was in the books, that just jumps from strong echii to hentai...

If they replaced all the shots of... activity... at the slave trading place in the non-AT-X versions, I'm sure the releasing of Klem scenes will be handled similarly.

I am following sub on VRV dub just doesn't work the same to me. (background music/emotions of the voices/etc.) IDK why it just doesn't sound the same to me.
They are probably going to do the following the magic thing that they did during the slave trader part. Just showing him put magic into Rem instead of Shera. It just happens to be another part of the body then Shera. The way they have changed just enough that it won't be hentai only echi.

@fozzedout Honestly, there was much more happening "off camera" and with sounds effects than was actually "shown". They will probably have to omit the "she's already has a hole" comment, but I'm thinking that scene can be done 90% as written with no issues.
