Kinda given up on this one since I thought the series ended a while ago.

Anyways I kinda hope they get voice actors from the Pokemon series roles in this show, it just feels like it would complete the joke.

I always wished this would get an anime, especially for the finale where the battles get CRAZY

The anime probably won't get that far though.

              We have a debut date!

My only concern about this is that a lot of the greatest, most over-the-top battles happen in the final volumes and I doubt they will be adapting that far.

So the first episode is out, what did y'all think of it?

Personally I enjoyed it; the voice acting was great and the animation was good. There was hints of the future wrinkles of the premise which is important.

I just watched the second episode.

As someone who read the LNs, I can tell you:

But I am enjoying the hell out of it. It's a good adaptation. I do think it would have been really well-served with a 75 minute first episode though. The first part is important for world building, but it's a little slow to draw people in.

                    spoiler

i was too in the manga, but i do wish they had held out until the day-of instead
though, i realize that early tease was to retain reader engagement -_-

manga-only still, but i'll probably try the anime eventually. just don't wanna mess up my perception of the characters by overriding it with the anime voices
