Hanashi marches on
-
Hanashi continues to release new volumes at a decent pace.
- Hanashi released Fruit of Evolution volume 10 today
- Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy v. 4 will release at the end of next month
- Another World Survival is complete with v. 8
- My Pet is a Saintess v. 3 is out
- Observation Records of My Fiancée v. 1 is out
- They also have some 1-2 volume releases like Half Spirit and Dark Guildmaster
Congrats to Hanashi for bringing us a nice collection of LNs including AlphaPolis LNs, and offering DRM-free versions through their own store.
JNC readers of Lady Albert might want to give the sample chapter for Observation Records a read since it is a little bit similar, except the too-nice-wannabe-villainess is described from the POV of the prince.

Disclaimer: nope, I have no connection to the publisher except as a reader wishing them well so I have more books to read :)

They just announced some bundle deals in their discord: https://discord.com/channels/900810184434270279/900810184434270282/1302829809659019284
DRM-free in the Hanashi store, 25% off list:
Fruit of Evolution bundle of 1-9 - https://store.hanashi.media/product/the-fruit-of-evolution-1to9-bundle-25-off/
If you watched the anime, season 1 was faithful to the LN and didn't lose much of the humor. Season 2 was a mess where the writers dropped characters, changed events, and they skipped most of the fun humor and substituted their own slapstick gags. The LNs are so much better.
Another World Survival - complete series - https://store.hanashi.media/product/another-world-survival-light-novel-complete-saga-bundle/
This is a bit gory, there is some monster sexual assault (treated as horror and not going into much detail), and there is some teen sex though nothing like Loner Life where it became approximately 28.57% of the content. It has some dark moments but in the end it's lighter than JNC's Monster Tamer. I recommend it, but you could get a sample chapter from one of the stores like Amazon. Also note there is a logical reason for some of the game-like elements, but you won't find out until near the end.
Half Spirit & Blue Moon (Oneshots Bundle) - https://store.hanashi.media/product/half-spirit-blue-moon-oneshots-bundle-25-off/
I haven't read these yet.

@HarmlessDave
Blue Moon is really really good.
To describe just how well done it is would be far too spoilerific for words, so no words being provided.
Just...you really should check it out.
Really. -
@Geezer-Weasalopes - thanks, I bought it when it came out but it's been sitting in my virtual to-read pile. Besides prepubs I'm reading JNC's Goblin Maiden v1 now (sweet :) ) but I'll try it next.

Quick bump to let people know that the 25% off bundles are good for a few more days, ending November 30.
Also, if you watched season 2 of the Fruit anime I'll say again the LNs are so much better with actual humor and some warmth instead of the witless slapstick and poop jokes the anime substituted instead.

It does help if you enjoy Douglas Adam's style of humor, or Terry Pratchett perhaps? -
Nooooo! Fruit in peril! Another World might not Survival!
If you've thought about trying these, you might want to start now. AWS is complete at 8 volumes, Fruit has 10 of 15 released.

@everyone
Dear Readers,We regret to inform you that Hanashi Media is currently facing challenges in renewing the licenses for The Fruit of Evolution and Another World Survival. Despite submitting a renewal offer to Futabasha several months ago, we have yet to receive a response regarding the continuation of these titles.
As much as we value these stories and the community of readers who support them, the lack of a renewed agreement from Futabasha may result in these titles being unavailable on our retail partners’ platforms—including Amazon, Google Books, Apple Books, Barnes & Noble, Kobo—as well as on our own store by next year.
We want to emphasize that Hanashi Media has taken every possible step to ensure a smooth renewal process, but the situation is unfortunately beyond our control at this stage. While we remain hopeful for a resolution, we feel it is important to keep you informed about the potential impact.
We deeply appreciate your understanding and continued support. Should there be any updates or changes, we will share them with you immediately.
Thank you for being part of our journey and for your unwavering enthusiasm for the stories we bring to life.
Warm regards,
Hanashi Media-------------------------------------------

Never got into the apple.Comedy is personal taste not good or bad, we like what we like. I enjoy Fruit and Loner Life but barely made it through one volume of Last Dungeon Boonies and noped out of Extremely Cautious just from the sample.

For certain, but even in the same series, various media change the comedy effect. I could not take Loner life in print, but I enjoyed the anime this season.
