Adding the publication date to the Premium Ebook page
-
Most of the other purchasing sites have the publication date of a title on it. At least the month and year at a minimum. This is not available anywhere on the pages for the premium Ebooks. Is there any way to add the publication date to the page? Mind you, I can't see a good place to put it, but the question is the start.

Bit funny really, after you pre-order the premium epub THEN you get the expected publication date in your library - so if you only have 2 credits and 4 books coming out you've got to hunt around to know which to spend the credits on first rather than accidentally buy something nearly 2mths ahead & miss out on something due next week.

@smashman42 My motivation is a little less exotic. I'm working on a Wikipedia page and trying to minimize the number of references I'll need to cite. Only place I've found on J-novel's site with release dates is the "Releases" page, but that only lists a few months. I could use it, but really would like to avoid citing pages that will eventually expire.

@paul-nebeling amazon will have everything and if you go to any volumes page it will have a direct link to amazon with the release date.

Do the premium ebooks being sometimes a day or two later than Amazon versions matter for what you're doing?

@rahul-balaggan While I would rather have that date from the publisher's website, I guess I will have to make due with what I can find.

englishlightnovels.com has a page called Light Novel Preorder Page that gas all the confirmed book release dates. But I do think it should be easier to see when an e-book will release here. In another post, on the Site improvement, I went kinda in depth on the Pre-pub page and I basically said have the Volumes on the left side of the page so you can click the part you want to read on the right side so you can click and read whatever part you want in 2 clicks. and above the Parts list, there could be an order book button, to add to that to fit what you thought of, have the date of publication next to the order button.
Edit: the publication date can also be next to the volume list that would be on the left side in this example.

The /r/LightNovels Release Wiki also has publisher/pre-order pages for just about every release set for the next 3-6 months. (Excluding J-NC's non-listed series.)

This is purely a UI limitation, because this information is actually returned to the site via the JNC API. In fact, the API response contains both the publishing date of the volume itself, plus the individual publishing dates for each eBook type (amazon/kobo/ibook/etc).
For example, if we look at For My Daughter volume 3, the API response lists a publishing date of "2017-10-24T15:00:00.000Z" for the volume itself, and "2017-10-25T07:00:00.000Z" for the ebook sellers.
There are also created/published/expiration dates for all individual parts in the volume, as well as the date that the volume's entry was created... plus lots of other dates for things.
