I just came across that offer from PayPal, which seemed too good to be true. But it turned out true.

In case anyone is interested in trying out AI, or already using it considering upgrading: the offer contains a 12 months (!) free trial for the pro subscription worth 12x20 USD ~ 240 USD. I used that and cancelled it right away so it will not prolong on its own (in case I forget about it one year after now).
Maybe someone else here within our community might be interested in making use of that. I am not affiliated with PayPal or Perplexity - just being a PayPal customer and thought it is nice to share.
After all 20 USD per month for AI is not cheap. And I personally have started using AI more and more that I am thankful for such trials. The offer is good until the end of the year ~
