What would your power be if you were "Isekaied"
-
@alocervancouver that is very close to the orcs from Warhammer 40k
-
I think having a pocket dimension inventory would already be nice enough. But if I have to choose, perhaps infinite bullets?
-
Screw cheats, I'd just use the language translator to forcefeed an entire novel's worth of information with one syllable. Make my own word that translates like that, you know? There's no skill that can protect someone from overloading their OWN brain trying to catch up with itself. And if they increase their processing power like Hajime can, I just need to add even more information.
-
I would want to gain stat through eating. I'm already a foodie, I am a hunter and fisherman, so adding hunting and killing none poisonous monsters would be something in my wheelhouse.

I thought of a power: Share Fate.
Share Fate as the name implies makes it so you share the same fate of another person. You can form a Bond with however many people you wish but whoever you Bond with must consent to the Bond and they need to know what happens when they Bond with you. You and the people you have Bonded with share the same power so if one person you bonded with has the power to heal any wounds than everyone in the what I will call the Hive also can Heal any Wounds. if you have say, 100 healers that can barely heal a scratch, when added up their total power may be really strong. you can think of this as a Shared Mana pool for a party or everything being put into the guild bank that the other Guildmates can all use. The Hive can all Communicate with each other however far apart in their minds Kinda like how The Doctor from Doctor Who can do this with himself or Lazer Team from Lazer Team can do this with each other. well, I suppose you can think it very similar to Sense8 but I have not watched that so I do not know the specifics but from what I have seen this power is close enough to compare like how each person in the Hive can "Control" any other person in the Hive.
-
@drone205 but if everyone connected to this Hive Mind had access to these powers, it'd mean that they'd all share the exhaustion. I mean, yeah, they could pool all their power to do what they couldn't do on their own, but let's say that one unit of the Hive Mind used up all of the mana reservoir doing one of these feats, everyone in the hive mind would be at zero MP at that point. I find this completely impractical unless they all agreed that only one would be using the power, the rest of the Hive Mind just chilling somewhere safe they wouldn't need these powers, which I really can't see happening.

Stop time... the abuse you can do with that power alone...

Touya power. But not only of his OP power, not just the smartphone I will also have a laptop.
-
@eduardo-straub what about any possible Electronic device you would want is turned into some AR or UI that you see.
You would not need to hold anything in your hands while you do stuff with the tech, though I suppose this would probably be something like a cross of the powers between Death March and Smartphone then
-
@drone205 the main reason is because with a laptop you can type faster and it seems weird to type using holograms. Well anyway Touya power seems to be the best power since is an accumulations of differents powers that make him so OP and his life much easier (I know that Touya complains).

"Universal mother". Everyone would perceive me as a kind, loving mother/grandmother figure to be protected and obeyed under threat of scolding. Even the Demon Lord. :-)
My skills would include "bake cookies, lv 99".

@dryurimom You win

Master Crafter: blessings of the Crafting God. All Crafting classes are usable. Alchemist, Smith, Tailor/Leatherworker, etc
- Apraisal - Typical apraisal ability in most of these types of stories
- Analyze - Run your power through a device to see its design and the crafting process within your knowledge at the time it is analized
- Design - permanent record of crafting recipes - be they result of analyze or taught/created by other means
- Build - able to complete any crafting that you are capable of instantly if materials are available. use of magic power replaces time normally used for crafting, consumption increases with complexity.
- Enchant - Grant Enchants crafted items of any elemental effect

I thought of an interesting power so I renewed this thread.
Magnet
Power to attract or repel two or more things. You can pick whatever you want to be "North" and "South" poles, and they will attract or repel for however long you wish. You can also make more abstract things into poles, such as emotion and thought. This power is soooooooo OP it ain't even funny; you could make an enemies blood repel from their body or make their blood attract to their head. You could even make emotions such as love attract towards you. Now this power has some side effects or we can say passive effects. you will attract and repel things, ppl, emotions, thought etc. passively. a basic example would be if you are male you will attract females and repel males or if you are an introvert you will attract extroverts and repel introverts. now these passive poles will clash with each other as you could be a male introvert but there may be a female introvert, so your power will repel the introverted part of her but will attract the female part, one of the push or pulls will be stronger witch probably be the male <> female pull since the majority of ppl either be one extreme of male or the other of female. While There are introverts, ambiverts, and extroverts, all on a scale.

words of power
The ability to give the words you speak power. Just by speaking you can created, control, and change the world around you. It can be something small like "you are now mute." thus making someone mute. Or it could be world changing like "magic no longer exists. while using words of power you need to be very carful of what words you use and need to enounciate every word to get the word you wish. Commas and what words you emphasize will be very important. The classic "I did not take the last cookie" is an example as it can be
"I did not take the last cookie"
"I did not take the last cookie"
"I did not take the last cookie"
Each has a slightly different meaning. This power is on a godly tier but when used it is important to choose your words carefully and how you say them.

Only Superpower I would really consider good to have (ok there are surely some more) would be the control over time. But not simply stopping time as this would be a lil too unreasonable (stop the whole dimension? nah, it would be easier if you get accelerated yourself). All the time I want to do what I want (and yes I know that it would leave certain things out if I can not manipulate them also). But if I can include objects I have all the time in the world for reading, manufacturing (although only manually), etc. Especially for a nap when I need it.
Side effect would need to be countered. Although this is not easy with this power. Seeing if I always accelerate myself I would die faster in real time. So I would also need a sidedish of either bringing objects back to a former state (which would make the point mood in reading, etc as my brain would be also be rewound) or simply a way to stop cell division.
Also with the way I see it I could not travel back in time to correct something. And yes I assume this would be the most useful usage out of time control. But as I mentioned before time control would be a power which is nearly impossible. Even for an Isekai it would be seriously OP.
-
@saskir for your time control thing I have a thought.
Flow Chart
The power to travel to key events from any dimension. You would have to actually experience the events and they can be a close of hours apart from each other or years apart. You have no control what an event is, the only criteria you are aware of is that this point I time must be a time and place where there is a major choice that will have hugely different consequences depending on what choices you make. It could be something like the choice to turn left to save the world and universe or turn right and see the stars dissapear. The important thing is that it must be something that causes huge change. You can NOT go back to an event when you die (like in re zero), you have to manually choose to go back. There is also the fact that the farther back an event the greater effect over time it will have, so if you want an even bigger change you have to go back farther AND will have to live through that timeline until you make it to another event to save that choice. So if say you just ignore some person and say five years down the line that person had a powerful skill or ability that is required for your quest to defeat the demon lord or something but he committed scuiside because no one treated him with well, you would have to go back 5 years to help that person and live through those 5 years again.
