Suggestion: Please add the option to sort by streaming end date
-
I would like to be able to sort titles by streaming end date.
That way, if there are 2 titles currently streaming, but one ends tomorrow and the other ends next month, I can instantly see which one I should prioritise. This would work best with an added filter that can list the titles that are currently streaming.
As far as I can see this filter doesn't exist yet.
I checked "Publication status ongoing" but that one also lists titles that currently aren't streaming as long as as there are more volumes expected to come out in the future, so it doesn't quite fit the purpose.
Therefore please add the currently streaming filter as well. -
I can see how that might be problematic. Dates of when things end might not be fixed or might not be a commitment that JNC wants to make public. (translators, editors, and staff have their own timetables and I imagine life happens )
maybe a 'currently streaming part 3/12' (3 of 12) would give you the same information (and would still allow for your sort/prioritization)?

@Jon-Mitchell I think they're looking to have a sort by when the pre-pubs are no longer available. Like how Scooped Up by an S-Rank Adventurer! This White Mage Is One Heck of a Healer Volume 1's pre-pubs expire on Feb 16. These are fairly fixed since the expiration date is almost always around the 15th of the month after the ebook is released and the dates are listed on the series page as soon as the new volume is added.

aaah- I see how that is different, and raises a whole other layer of difficulties. Often (it seems) that when pre-pubs expire is tied to when the next volume in a series starts streaming- and JNC has a policy of NOT discussing future publishing schedules. Also, JNC (if I recall correctly) doesn't license always (or even often) entire series at a time, instead they license volume by volume - and when a ebook gets published, and pre-pubs stop streaming might not be a something that JNC wants to (or always can for business reasons) make those schedules public

@Smoochie you might find this thread useful https://forums.j-novel.club/topic/534/expiring-volumes-light-novels/401
It lists which volumes are going to expire each month and lets you schedule what to prioritize reading. Keep in mind it's manually updated so there might be errors but usually they are corrected as soon as someone notices.@Jon-Mitchell the data is already publicly available both in the release calendar and in each series page on the website so there is no problem on that front.
