Okay, that got me interested now. I was actually checking out the LN/manga a while ago. But the fan translation/scanlation really sucks. Being able to get an official english release is really good.

Another announcement. I have seen the cover on Bookwalker and was interested in this one. Should be interesting.. it has Yandere? (Apparently not). It's a manga only.

I don’t know if I am alone, but every time I see SOL get a new LN I get more sad that they got it then happy that I get to read something new.

I'm happy because most of their releases seem to have had borderline localization chances. This reminds me of when JNC started, I think some were upset that Grimgar was going to these unknowns instead of Yen.
It seems like their process for translation and production should be faster soon (remains to be seen of course), so it may just be a matter of if it'll stay quality. One of the other series was confirmed to have a translator that has worked with JNC, so even on that front they may be getting better.
Edit: Steiner is translating that Harem Game Ending one.

I'm mainly apprehensive because of Sol Press's history regarding their other 2 LNs. But I do want to read more of FUNA's stuff, and the Ryukishi07 manga seemed pretty interesting and never got scanlated very far, so I'm willing to put my fears aside and just hope for the best.
@Terrence You'll probably like the Ryukishi07 manga too, since it's a death game :o

@terrence in my opinion you can never make a second first impression, between the horrendous quality of the physical releases, the higher price point for digital books, the huge delay for V2s, the radio silence on all fronts regarding whether they even will do V2s, and the fact that they seem to have bitten off more then they can chew, all lead me to be sad rather then happy.
Sure they can grow and employ competent people, but all the stuff I mentioned is not a resource issue it’s a management issue.

Why Shouldn't a Detestable Demon-Lord is the only other one being worked on at the moment (translation + editing in progress).

Yeah, I noticed that too (was going to link the page... But there was none). It's still mentioned in the Blog (in the italicized text saying it hasn't started being worked on), but yeah, it's almost as if it doesn't exist right now.
Maybe that one is going to be really far out, and they want us to forget? xD

Oh, I'm just jumping to conclusions there. But that and the 80,000 Gold Coin novel version haven't been worked on yet. So at the least, we'll be waiting a bit longer.
Since the VRMMO one has many volumes (I think 5 or 6?), you'd think that'd be one you'd want to get out on some regular basis.
Edit: It does say those projects will start soon, but I'm not sure when soon is since I think "soon" was listed there last month too. T_T

@terrence IIRC, they mentioned 80k would be worked on by January, I think? I assume they're transferring one of the translators for a VN to the untranslated LNs or something.
