@SomeOldGuy said in Souma's Phone:
To build a charger, you would first need a basic understanding of electricity, which Souma laments doesn't exist.
Then, you need a way of figuring out the voltage. A USB charger puts out about 4.5-5.1 volts. An alkaline cell is about 1.5v, lead-acid nominally 2.1v or so. Figure out the formula for a cell and build a battery that matches, AND construct a way to attach it to the phone's charging port, and the on-board electronics could deal with the rest, but such things weren't in Souma's studies.
Naden does not currently know how to control her electricity nearly enough to recharge a battery.
See, it comes down to the inventors mind. Knowing point A, and you need to get to point Z is half,the battle...
Genia or another would HAVE to find a way to measure wattage, amperage and voltage. Souma should have at least this knowledge, of not how they differ. Hell I sure as hell don’t.
Alternatively/additionally Naden would need to learn how to regulate her own electrical discharge... she would essentially need to understand Those self same measures. Or run it through Genoa’s device.
This isn’t in another world with my smartphone tho... (thankfully?). Not that his phone would help that much...
