@piisfun
Oh thanks, I figured that when I logged using Google the forum doesn't log in.. but when I logged in by writing my username and password in the main site it worked and forum logged in as well.. the password was saved in my browser password manager :)
I hear from JNC that their e-pubs pass EPubCheck so you might want to make a report with FB Reader. According to https://forums.j-novel.club/topic/6808/getting-encrypted-pages-on-a-premium-purchased-epub/6?_=1685790630062 the FB Reader Android app has had problems reading JNC novels, possibly due to JNC's E-Pubs now being uncompressed to improve performance. If that is the issue with FB Reader then the problem seems to be on FB's end as it appears that uncompressed EPubs are standards compliant. You might also be able to use some sort of tool or utility to repack the EPub using Deflate which might work, but it's not something I have ever looked into. I personally use Moon+ Reader Pro and although I haven't tried it with Wortenia generally JNC novels work fine.
@GiriGT You're going to want to reach out to them at support@j-novel.club as they'll probably need sensitive information that no one is going to want to be posting on the forums.
@borikuanene You might want to provide them a bit more info like what device you're using, if you're using a browser or app, etc. There's a few known issues with manga related to phone memory for example.
@Zitrox I think they're going to need more information, like what series and part you are attempting to access.
There is a reported issue with the magician who rose from failure (manga) V1P2 that will result in that error on the app right now if that happens to be what you're trying to access.
There are two formats you can use Calibre to convert to: mobi and azw3. Have you tried both? (I usually use azw3 because it doesn't over-compress the images). I also recommend using USB to load them onto the Kindle (Calibre can do it directly)
The Google Pay and Apple Pay options are for a quicker and more efficient method of adding a card to the site for a subscription. It is not a direct mobile payment.
At this time a J-Novel Club subscription can only be purchased with a credit card, debit card, pre-paid gift card branded from a major CC company.
I noticed that if I change page turn direction form side to up/down -it will show words. It is very weird behavior.
What's basically happening is that the page is cutting a lesser-used HTML tag in half, and the reader is not properly handling it, so it shows a blank page. Changing the orientation/font size/etc. is pushing that problematic text all onto one page so it's then parsing properly.
That being said we do have a “creative-writing”
channel on our Discord. It is a very active channel with several people participating. You may find more people to discuss with there than on the forums.
A link to the Discord can be found on the main site, at the very bottom of the page.
It will show up if you force it to refresh.
Or well I had to go to a different month and then go back to april to let it have the different URL https://j-novel.club/calendar?year=2023&month=4 and then refresh to work
