Unknown error, please help.

I keep getting "An unknown error has occured", every time I try to redeem a credit to buy a book on premium. I have 10 credits so I don't know why it's not going through.

I think the only time I've experienced an error like that was when I was logged out. Have you tried purchasing using a different web browser?

Try logging out and logging back in. That has fixed similar errors for me before.

I think Igot this error once while trying to buy an ebook a second time. Did forget that I preordered it.

And have you confirmed it is not a book you have already ordered or pre-ordered?

A lot depends on where you try to use the credit. The links at the end of a chapter to redeem a credit have rarely, if ever, worked for me. And I have reported them before, with steps to recreate the problem.
The most reliable way to get to redeem a credit for me has been to go to the book's main page, such as:
https://j-novel.club/c/how-not-to-summon-a-demon-lord-volume-13-part-6Scroll the Volumes arrows until you can select the volume you want to buy. When you click on it, you should get the list of buttons for where you can buy it, with "PREMIUM EBOOK" at the bottom. That link works to get you to the "real" redeem credit page.

@Shiny I've made sure I haven't already owned or pre-owned it yet, it even does this on books I don't even have a single volume in.

@SomeOldGuy I'm not sure if I understand what you're saying. I go to the volume section and I see on the right side that there's a few options and I always buy the one on the bottom so I can just download it to my phone.

You could always try the beta version of the website to see if it works there: https://beta.j-novel.club/
I wouldn't bet on it working if it doesn't work for you on the current website, but I expect that it's worth a try.

@Kalessin The beta site works. Thank you very much and I truly mean it. I can't do much but read or play video games due to health issues.
