I've had my Fire HD 10 for 3 years with no issues.
I was thinking of replacing it as some of my apps are no longer supported by this older version.. What issues are you having? -
Bought mine Black Friday last year... Has been a fantastic tablet for me. My only complaint would be with the Amazon app store but loading the Google Play store on it is very easy to do.

I have an ancient many years old Fire 7 that still works, and my two e-ink Kindles have worked very well.
If you don't mind spending $180+ for a Lenovo you'll get "real" android instead of FireOS, but for the money a Fire 10 is very good.
