This series is one where the fan translator went official, so the the fan translations are sorta being 'remastered' as it were (ok, re-edited) and released as officially licenced ebooks, which is where the volumes from 1-9 are at.

23+ is where the fan translation was up to when the amateur to professional/legal change happened, so they are being churned out too (maybe so the translator isn't bored doing just old stuff?)

In between is still available on the web from the usual LN fan translation place, but as volumes come on here they get taken down from there. Oh, once on here I believe the drafts between fan translation & ebook (prepubs) are staying unlocked, unlike everything else that gets locked once the ebooks are released.

I've been meaning to binge this but my to read list is just too damn long!

Warning: Could have some of the details wrong, but that's what I've gathered trying to figure this issue out for myself.

@don-ledermann They are added on a monthly basis. Volume 10 should become available sometime next week.

It's slightly faster than one volume a month. The series was licenced in May 2017. In nine months, eleven volumes have been converted with thirteen volumes remaining. That's including translating five newly published volumes. Since we have at least a month before volume 28 will start being translated, who knows how many more volumes will get converted. I'm guessing the entire series will be on JNC by the end of this year.

@smashman42 Warnis did the main novel translation on B-T and is doing the translation here as well

Is it a big difference between the original and re-edited version? Not sure if I should wait for the editing to catch up or just read the old fan translations for those volumes so I can catch up.

@orangeflavored Biggest change I've noticed is the Blue Knight's last name.

I admit, I preferred the old one, even if the new one fits the author's wish better (due to the graphic). "Bertorion" sounds like a name from the same people who have a Theiamilis or Clariossa. "Veltlion" doesn't, really.

@dtta I'm inclined to agree with you. Veltlion produced some mental gear grinding when I read it.
