I Got Hit By a Truck But I Wasn’t Sent to Another World! What the Heck?! Discussion Topic!

Kudos indeed, this was a great April Fool's day joke! The story was kind of fun as well, to my very surprise.
-
I enjoyed the dedicated correction topic!
That aside, if this were a full book, I would buy it!
-
I almost had my doubts while I checked out the title online. But didn't expect the hints for upcoming licenses. Nice one!
-
This is the best novel I've ever read in my entire life. I will pass this down through generations so that for years to come, my family will understand where they came from. Many tears fell from my eyes at the emotional conclusion of this novel.
Kami-sama bless LeVon Jaymes for bringing this masterpiece into the world.
Kami-sama bless Hirei for their beautiful artwork which moved me as much as the text.
Kami-sama bless exedore for the world's best translation. Other translators should read this book to see what real translation looks like.
Kami-sama bless Nathan Archer for the highest quality of editing.
Kami-sama bless the readers for experiencing this with me. -
Well that was an enjoyable little story, kudos for the interesting and fun AF joke!
-
@saffire I’m glad I wasn’t the only one thinking that.
That said, there are so many things that might be hints, or might just be only the words on screen, that I’m having trouble predicting anything. Not that I’m ever right, but trying to guess is the fun part.
-
Truck-kun did not send the main character to another world?! What a shocking twist! O_O
-
This was well timed. I think the last six new novels and mangas I picked up all either had the truck take out the MC or the MC's parents/friends.
-
I like the fact that the Sermon number is Pi above the synopsis on the series page.
Also, the digital release date is in the year 3333. Looks like we will have to wait awhile. -
So...when does part 2 come out? 😉🤣
-
@lily-garden Maybe we'll get Part 2 when it's time for the next round of previews?

Does the JNC staff know that they just opened a can of worms? This was perfectly readable as a legit stand alone story. The challenge how now been issued = write new parts to drop clues for releases, make the next parts as fun/readable as part one was and weave an actual plot into the story. As bonus content or between parts, I humbly request a 'key' of what the clues were
-
@myskaros so I know this was done as a joke but seriously... when we gettin a part 2 cause I’d totally read this lol. I’d love to see some good story not set in another world. With life based skills or giving a guy a leveling system in modern times. Of course I think most can say the OP route is overdone as well. Maybe have life kick him while he’s down a few times even if it turns around in other or unexpected ways later.
-
Since this was intended as an April Fools joke, maybe we'll get a new chapter every year on April 1st.
-
I think it'd be nice to get a new chapter before each licensing event, each one sprinkled with clues and hints of soon-to-be announced titles.
-
Yay! More of this series tomorrow morning! I’ve been waiting a long time for more to be published!! :p
-
...what are the chances of us ever getting a proper .epub file of the books? because i would love to read them but the lack of dark mode kinda kills me
idk what to put here but please j-novel staff update the BL tag to yaoi or boy's love so I can actually use the search feature
-
@yuu1412 Is there an issue with the website's dark mode?
Whoever said nothing's impossible never tried slamming a revolving door.
-
That is a well done April Fools joke. Bravo.
-
@myskaros !!! So I never knew that was an option. I was just living with what i thought wad a lack of dark mode in the reader. Thank you for telling me! Maybe now I'll start reading parts as they come out lol
Still would enjoy epub for offline / poor reception reading but! I'm happy this exists
