Difficulty accessing pre-pubs
-
Hi guys,
Are there issues with the servers today?
I've been trying to access the latest pre-pubs on both the beta app and my pc, but I can't access them.
My pc comes back with a 404, while the beta app doesn't appear to get a response from the servers.I can only access them on the old app, with a noticeable loading delay.

I just tried on the new app and on https://crimson-jnc-reader.appspot.com/ and both seem to be working for me. Try logging out and in again and double check your subscription has not run out.

@shiny the new app acts as if I've never logged in each time I boot it up, and when I do log in it effectively stalls.
The website won't even load up any of account details. I'm using chrome, Edge, and my phone's browser. But I presume my subscription is fine, as I can still read the pre-pubs on the old app.

@heroicscrotum It's been working fine for me, both the website and the app. If you're experiencing persistent problems, could you share your operating system, browser, and browser version (PC)? Also screenshots of the exact error messages you're receiving.

@myskaros I'm on Windows 10 Home 64-bit, I've tried using Edge version 92.0.902.55 and Chrome version 92.0.4515.107.
I'm having some difficulty with uploading the screenshots of the app.
The error text that comes up on the releases window is "Failed loading releases: No response received from server - Connection timed out [10000ms]"
The series window error is "Failed loading series: No response received from server - Connection timed out [10000ms]"
For the account information window, I just have the "Loading user data..." on a rolling loop that doesn't go anywhere.I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times, but it hasn't achieved anything.

I think I've sussed what is having a tantrum... I've been troubleshooting everything at my end and it looks like my router has crapped itself and is being temperamental on what it allows access to.
Apologies for querying my own stupidity, guys.

@heroicscrotum No worries! We also want to make sure the problems aren't from our side, it just takes a while to troubleshoot. Glad you were able to figure out the issue!

@myskaros thanks. I had a senile moment before I realised all my devices fed into the router 😅
