This is why the Strait Jackets exist, Tactical Sorcerists who serve as an executioner's blade to protect the innocent should a magic spell cause its user to become a demon, preferably before casualties stack.
Of course, to do this work, you must be a licensed Tactical Sorcerist, but not Leot Steinberg, that's just not his thing. They only call upon his service when conventional combat proves ineffective or when other Strait Jackets just can't be there. Is the cost of his forbidden codex of spells worth the price of protecting the city? Well, if Leot feels like it, and the pay is good, he might not say no.
