iOS App showing blank Sceen

When I am using iOS app to read chapters or manga it only shows a blank white screen. I am using iOS 15 and app version 2.1 It has been this way even on iOS 14.8 before updating.

Hi there! Unfortunately, the current app available on the app stores is out of date and not being developed any further. We would recommend that you check out the beta app instead, which we are actively working on and will be releasing as a full app soon.

This is a known glitch of the old app, and I do recommend using the new beta app.
If for some reason you want to stick with the old app, the glitch you're describing can easily be fixed by changing any setting in the reader top bar.
Change from vertical --> horizontal (or vise versa), change from dark mode to light mode, whatever. Then the text will appear (after you hit "Apply"). -
@myskaros Hello! I am a premium member and was never informed that there was a beta app. I don't frequent these forums, so I've been suffering with the poorly coded app that LegitPancake is dealing with. You can't login without force quitting first; you can't turn your iPad sideways or the app will reset your reading location; and if other apps have used memory since you were last reading, you return to a blank page.
Installing TestFlight isn't difficult. I'm already doing beta for another app. You guys should promote the new app more. It's a great improvement, even unfinished as it is.
@LegitPancake When you get the blank page, tap in the middle to cause the menu to drop down. You can exit the book and then reload it.
