Where do I find the WN for The Magician who rose from failure?
-
Does anybody know where to find this? I found one site, but aside from being a pretty bad translation, it also didn't show any signs that it was being updated. No dates of changes or anything like that. I really love this series, so I want to read ahead as much as I can.

The WN is available on Syosetu: https://ncode.syosetu.com/n6362fe/
You could try reading it with MTL (Google Translate, DeepL, etc.) but the result is not exactly good. Not to mention that the LN is different compared to the WN. For example the whole Gown/Grave Sprite arc is LN-only content, just like everything else Gown-related is: the lantern, Tribe, etc.

@terabyte Thanks a lot. That's a number of chapters past what I found on my own. Yeah I have to use Google Translate, but I'll muddle through. Thanks again.

The search methodology I've had the most success with in regard to locating WN raws is as follows:
- Visit the various information sites such as MAL or ANN to obtain the kanji for the Japanese title.
- Using your preferred search engine, search for that character string.
- Look through the results, discarding those which are clearly for booksellers or aggregators. What you hope to see would be an address which has syosetu in the URL, although there are other sites similar to it which also host Japanese Web Novels; after a while you become familiar with the lot of them.
One can do similarly for WNs which are originally published in Korean, Chinese, etc, just recognize that the relevant information or host sites tend to vary based upon the language involved.

@weasalopes I seriously hope I don't have to do that much work that often lol. Anyways, thanks for the tip.

@terabyte I forgot to reply to the later part of your comment. Yeah I know the web novel is a little different. Another change is that in the WN, Lycia's encounter with the demon comes a little later. However, aside from that and the stuff about Gown, I find the LN follows the WN pretty closely. So, while I have to wait months and months for the next volumes of the LN, I can satiate myself a bit.
