Feast on March's Meaty Catchups!
-
In the spirit of Mardi Gras, we've got some hearty catchups to dine on for March!
In The Greatest Magicmaster's Retirement Plan, child soldier Alus just wants to end his life of fighting, but as the most powerful Magicmaster, he's roped into enrolling at an academy and secretly training his replacements first! How long will it be before he can peacefully retire...?
Takahiro finds himself in another world with nearly his entire school. Some students find themselves with superhuman abilities, and they lead the school into creating a community to survive. However, one day there's a breakdown and kids with power start killing fellow students. Takahiro somehow manages to escape and discovers that his power is that of a Monster Tamer.
Princess Rosemary realizes she's been reborn inside an otome game she played in her previous life... except that all the love interests turn out to be psychopaths or perverts! She decides she can't afford to let the story play out as intended if she wants to achieve true happiness. And that's how The Reincarnated Princess Spends Another Day Skipping Story Routes!
Finally, in Marginal Operation Arata has lost his job, but decides to apply to a private military security instead of becoming a NEET again. Unfortunately, the mercenary life is far more punishing that he could have ever imagined. Be warned that this series does have explicit content!
With over 30 volumes of content, J-Novel Club members have plenty to catch up on this month!

@rkkn Oops, I think that was supposed to be deleted before I posted xD

First time I’m reading Magicmaster. Though it’s a pretty typical battle harem story I liked the fact that there is decent world building and the side characters actually get developed pretty well. I guess I wouldn’t have gotten interested if not for the catchup!
-
Sorry for the late reminder, but catchups will be changing on Friday at around 12 PM Pacific/7 PM UTC! So you've got about two days to finish reading anything on your list!
-
@myskaros Got any hints for us about Aprils?
-
@kilocron Just stay tuned, you'll find out on Friday ;)
-
@kilocron probably bookworm as the 3rd season is coming out soon
-
@lovebsg wouldn't it make sense for Bookworm to be on catchup in July rather than April? That would be the perfect timing to catch the people who just finished Season 3 of the anime and want to find out what happens next.
But I guess we'll find out later today :)

@pcj last year they were doing while the show was airing for things like Realist Hero, and then recently for Arifureta. If you try to do it afterwards, the show might stop being discussed.
-
@georgemto I guess on my theory it would actually need to be June, since it would need to be on catchup already when the last episode aired.
But yeah, it was on catchup when season 1 started, and I dove in after watching the first episode, because I was too excited by episode 1 to wait for the next episode. :-)

@georgemto same for by the grace of god, Seirei Gensouki and the other 2 seasons of bookworm ? The first one being the light novel and the 2nd season being the manga. They usually started right before or right after the new season. So either April or May. I buy them anyways as in my opinion bookworm is easily the best light novel period.
