Anyone else excited for the new lineup?

I was opening a tab on my phone and the first article mentioned JNC licensing new books. I was like 'Cool, let's check it out.' And there it was. 'Now I'm a Demon Lord.' I may or may not have fallen in love with the series after reading an unofficial translation, and I may or may not have petitioned Bookwalker to make it available in English. And now I get to read it in English! Next on my list to beg for is Forsaken Saintess.

I am! I really enjoy Now I'm a Demon Lord! Happily Ever After with my Monster Girls in My Dungeon's WN and Manga, so I'm excited for the LN. There were a few others I'll be checking out.

@Demonskid It's a pretty cute and cool series, and I'm looking forward to the light novel. Especially because a light novel printing often leads to a manga printing, and vice versa.

I just finished with both the manga and LN of Oversummoned. I really enjoyed that one as well. I'm really enjoying this line up.

I’m really curious about Gag Character. To my understanding it’s been hiatus/axed and uncompleted. If J-novel has access to the ending & maybe even news of the author writing more that’s a series I’ve always wanted to buy.

I haven't read Oversummoned yet, but seeing that made me sad yet again that The Sidekick Never Gets the Girl was cancelled in Japan after volume 2. :cry:

JNC haven't published any further volumes for a series that gets axed in JP, so I wouldn't be expecting anything more than the 2 volumes already released there. It's from a publisher that they licensed from for the first time this batch, so it's possibly just something small to help establish a business relationship.

Interested, yes, but finding the time to read the new titles is the challenge. The days when one could easily read every title JNC translated are long gone. It's a good thing, but sometimes I feel like I miss out.

@MaxWyght there's always the chance that the increased sales from the English release will convince the publisher to pick it back up.

@pcj Much like Her Majesty's Swarm, which got its next volume specifically because English-language sales were so strong, and which leveraged its overseas popularity in the marketing of V4.
