JNC Site Updates - August 2022
-
Some new website updates have been deployed!
- Various fixes/updates on the User Library filters:
- New "Show only unpurchased" option has been added (originally requested here).
- These filter options now save between sessions/when navigating in and out of your library, including whether the options panel is collapsed or not.
- The kebab menu is no longer hidden under the bottom website menu.
- Some series volume titles now display properly (namely Rebuild World).
- When there is an odd number of pages in the web reader 2-page view, you can now navigate to the final page with the keyboard as expected in addition to the page scroller in the reader options.

Do we need to report that the NAMES of new volumes have disappeared? That is, when you click on the new volumes tab, only the volume date is displayed, not the title of the volume?
-
@SomeOldGuy Can you please provide a screenshot or more details? I honestly cannot grasp what you're talking about just from that post.
-
@myskaros Working on it. My screen shows the number of the volume for "New books", but not the title.
-
@SomeOldGuy Ohh, I understand now. We'll take a look at that.
-
@myskaros OK. It looks like that screen under a title (where you'd only need the volume label), instead of explaining what is being linked to.
In my case, "Ideal Sponger Life volume 7" only shows "Volume 7".
-
Same thing happens for "Updated books":
Ok, volume 1 of WHAT is updated?
-
@Zehd Until they get it fixed, if you're really dying to know, if you press the vertical dots button and hover over the Read pop out, it will show you the URL of the series on your desktop browser.
-
-
More graphical issues in that same menu (minor):
- note the position of the "new" label when on the same volume as the "Updated" label.
- note that the "download" button is offset vertically from the rest of the line.
-
The updated and new books sections in the user library now show the full series + volume name again! Sorry about that!
-
Another addition but one a long time coming, we've updated the website reader so that in 2-page horizontal mode, if there is an odd number of pages, the final page can be reached via keyboard! Please let us know if you encounter any issues with this fix and we will take a look ASAP.
