This kind of topic pops up almost every time a new epub is published. I think @Sam-Pinansky should really display a better error/page that explains it :p
if current_time < (publish_time + 24hours) then display-better-error-page;Or something like that anyway.

What about recoding the download button to only become clickable when the file becomes available?
