Synopsis : Healing magicians cannot fight alone.’ Keare, who was bound by this common knowledge, was exploited again and again by others.
But one day, he noticed what lay beyond healing magic, and was convinced that a healing magician was the strongest class. However, by the time he realized that potential, he was deprived of everything. Thus, he used healing magic on the world itself to go back four years, deciding to redo everything.
This is a heroic tale of one healing magician who became the strongest by using knowledge from his past life and healing magic.(MC was chosen as one of Hero´s and Party of hero´s choosed him to join him but they didn ´t know that he was healer which was big burden for them....so they use him, drug him to the point he can´t go back train him for them to be they´re healing tool(if he´s using healing magic the damage the one he is healing he will take it but only psychically),over years to his status was added resistante to poiso so he regained conscience and he took he´s revenge using Healing magic and Use it on Earth it self to return to the point where it all began, and that´s where the story trully begins)

Surprisingly, this one has won the first prize on bookwalker's basically "best new series" poll.
-
It's quite a shock. Pretty sure this is the one where he basically rapes and mind screws everyone 'cause 'they hurt him' in a prior life then goes on to raping and mind screwing total innocents and good people.
-
not exactly everyone, just the ones that kinda ****ed him over (Literally) the 1st time, the others, he goes for "an Eye for an Eye" kinda revenge and kills those who are just human scum.
that said, MC is still bit brutal in his revenge (to his targets or for some "Victims" of said targets) -
From the WN, he mindrapes and sleeps with (thus rape) some woman who had -nothing- to do with is revenge who was an upright knight sort. It happens more than once. So no, not just 'the people who wronged him'. ;)
-
as far as i remember at the very least up til mid vol 5ish WN (which is when i kinda dropped it) the only women he'd actually "done" were
ofc, i dont think any of that was ok but not exactly going around raping completely unrelated women.
unless you meant when he met
then thats kinda iffy cause of the aftereffects which could be deemed better storywise (not exactly good but better than following the human kingdom)
but yeah, im actually 50/50 on this novel, just couldnt really get past vol 5 ish WN wise even though i still have it bookmarked for later
-
I was really surprised when I learned that this series had won the poll.
I can imagine people buying it. But I find it difficult to imagine people actually vote for it. -
So sounds like a fun controversial series that would surely sell well. Do it, JNC-kun!

Ick
I think I've found where I'd draw the line.
Just revenge, I'd probably read it to see how well it is done (like, does it frame the protag as fucked up or as a hero?), but with him going on to innocents... yeah, no thanks.

Pretty sure you're just justifying rape at this point... :/

@myskaros
oh i didnt say MC didnt rape if thats how it sounded, nor endorsed it in any way/shape or form, i just said i didnt remember him doing so to just anyone and everyone.this LN's MC is hard to uh "sympathize" even when a very large amount of the cast is scum and his own backstory is just plain horrible,
id have dropped the series long before V5 had i not had the annoying habit of being unable to drop series very easily (especially ones that have frequent releases) -
@motionless47 I understand that you were trying to correct someone else's hyperbole, but at the same time... you should realize that what you ended up saying is "oh, he doesn't rape everyone, just people who really deserve it and sometimes it turns out OK!"
-
if thats how it read, i do apologize. im kinda stuck as to how to "describe" it without spoiling too much about who/what/motives and such. it is a hard topic to stomach especially since most of the motivation comes from before the re-do.
-
Wasn't really /that/ much hyperbole. I read the WN for a while in spite of the protagonist being pretty vile, and he absolutely does do bad stuff to good guys and the narrative kinda paints him as more or less right. I'd be a lot happier with a villain protagonist like Ainz, honestly. But hey, not trying to say people suck for liking it or anything. I'm just shocked it was so popular to hit #1 on that poll. :)
-
Ainz is one of the lamest protagonists in history, for shame.
Sorry, just had to get it off my chest.

Despite protagonist being consciously evil to the point of sexually abusing and brainwashing his enemies, then justifying every inhuman torture you can think of with "revenge", I kinda grew found of the story.
Its a rather fresh take on the whole hero aspect, where normal protagonist would be like "Oh I cant kill people because am a hero, blah blah blah".
This MC will be like "Oh this bastard killed the nice elderly dude I met yesterday while I stood and watched from a window? I got a good reason to torture and abuse him/her in the most vile way in order to take revenge".
But then again, the main character did get raped, drugged and abused in every imaginable way for nearly 4 years before he got a chance to get back at his captors. I think 4 years of rape would make anyone a little tilted. The only drawback I could see from the web novel is that author is kinda unskilled and whimsical, and tend to write for convenience. Sometimes author would make protagonist a clever, methodical psychopath that outsmarts his enemies and lure them into a trap. While other times main character would walk into an obvious trap or fail to make full use of his abilities.
But I would still love to see what light novels hold in store for the characters.

After trying some of the WN, I wouldn’t touch even an officially translated version of this with a 10 foot pole.

@legitpancake that bad huh. Or was it just ethically wrong.
