I would like to ask if something is wrong with jnovel... New volumes of some of your licenses like Haibara teenage+ and Spirit chronicles etc. which had release dates previously and should have been available have all been taken down from the website. Is something wrong? This includes Infinite Dendrogram too.
-
Hello,
Could you provide more specifics to your question?
I just looked at the series page for each of the series you mentioned. The latest available volume for each is still present. Like V21 for Dendrogram, https://j-novel.club/series/infinite-dendrogram
And V5 for Haibara, https://j-novel.club/series/haibara-s-teenage-new-game
V23 Gensouki, https://j-novel.club/series/seirei-gensouki-spirit-chronicles
-
@Rasengan15 Are you referring to volumes you've purchased, or just "volumes"?
For me, Spirit Chronicles is all present (I've purchased this series). However, Haibara only shows the first chapter of each book available to me, same as Infinite Dendrogram.
If either of those series were on a month where they were generally available, they'd show up.

@SomeOldGuy For haibara volume 6 was set to be released in December 2023 and it was being translated, you could read the first part but now it's been removed entirely and the whole series on jnovels same with spirit chronicles. Volume 24 should have been out last year and it's been removed entirely and the series in as weird as haibara with all the volumes having just part 1.
-
@Rahul-Balaggan They don't they all had volume 6 and Volume 24 being translated and were to be released by the end of 2023 but have now been taken down and if you check both, the previous volumes have just their first part highlighted and there's been no news.
-
@Rasengan15 Released in Japan is not the same as licensed for release in the US. You can buy v6 of 灰原くんの強くて青春ニューゲーム on Amazon.co,jp (released 1 December 2023), but it hasn't been licensed for translation yet.
-
@SomeOldGuy I know that what I'm saying is jnovel was translating this volumes before I remember reading the first part for both cause in the case of haibara by the time of English release of a volume the next is already being translated so the release window is small, probably 2 months between volumes. I might be mistaken if they haven't started translating before but I just want to know why it's been so long since we got a new volume.

@Rasengan15
You're wrong. J-Novel Club never started Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles v24 (Japanese release:2023-08-01
),Infinite Dendrogram v21 (Japanese release:, or Haibara’s Teenage New Game+ v6 (Japanese release:2023-09-29
)2023-12-01
).
Why has J-Novel Club not started them yet? See: https://forums.j-novel.club/topic/3478/future-volume-release-schedule -
@LurkingMcLurk Actually Infinite Dendrogram v21 started this week (Feb 6, 2024), so part 1 is actually available right now.

@jpwong
Well that's embarrassing. -
Just to add on a voice from staff.
We have not started pre-publication of Haibara V6, or V24 of Gensouki.
They were not put up and taken down they were never put up yet.
The link to the general statement we have regarding new series starts was linked above and is also in my post signature.

@Rahul-Balaggan Thank you so much.. I was mistaken then

With 333 series published by JNC it's easy to fall victim to the Mandela Effect. I've sometimes mis-remembered that the epub of series A was being released on day X when it was really series B. I go to buy A and wonder why it was delayed.
