^ We have some party poopers saying this is the next Super Mario Bros movie, but maybe this is the next Who Framed Roger Rabbit. That was a mystery film as well, hmm hmm.

This will possibly the first videogame based live action adaptation that doesn't suck. The trailer was pretty damn good and it felt like it knew where it was going while still respecting the original game's lore. I'm excited for this.

The trailer was very different from that demo...I was thinking, I wonder if they'll make a new Detective Pikachu game based on the movie for Nintendo Switch (like Street Fighter the Movie the Game).
That world could be fun to explore (maybe that's what the next gen Pokemon game will look like?).
