Ore to Kawazu-san no Isekai Hourouki
Synopsis:
Tarou was just an ordinary university student until a strange old magician summoned him to another world. Upon learning that his newly acquired magical power is 8 million (8 million more powerful than an average magician), he uses his abnormally powerful magic to revive the old man that caused all this… in the form of a frog. Thus begin the strange adventures of a boy with ridiculous magical power and Kawazu, the former strongest magician, now revived as a frog.

I'm not one to make detailed review of something. So all I can say is that I really enjoyed it so far and so I'm hoping J-Novel would pick this up!

I was checking out the manga for this one a while ago. But looking at the LNDB link it lists only 1 volume released on 26 February 2013. Was the LN dropped? Or is the LNDB page simply not updated?

cdjapan and novelupdates both list 10 volumes. Must be old info on lndb...
But more worrying is it may be on a hiatus? Volume 10 came out in June 2016...

@korppi I'm not entirely sure either, but according to some of the reviews I saw here: https://bookmeter.com/books/11080836, it seems like the series is completed.
-
@korppi The NU link is about the Web Novel so unsure if that volumes count is actually the LN.
-
There's no completion tag for the series on Bookwalker afaik.

There is a second novel series listed there as well. Don't know what that's about. The latest release of the second series was September 14th of this year, so still active.
Latest volume link (obviously could be spoilers on the cover):

Heh, on the Discord there was some discussion about how in many cases of isekai summonings, the protagonist doesn't realize that they were effectively kidnapped. While there are a few cases of this, with the characters involved primarily trying to find a way home, in other cases they're just not really attached to the original world or something.
Here, though, it looks like we have someone who realizes it's a kidnapping, and actually gives the "kidnapper" some retribution. Glorious.
Anyway, this does interest me, though it will have to join all the other Alphapolis titles in whatever limbo they are in for light novel licensing...

We definitely got a small taste of that in a JNC title:

Oh wow, nice. I thought 10 volumes was too few for this novel, I'm happy now that I know there's a 2nd series :D

Bumping simply cos I noticed that the compiled list doesn't contain this entry anymore.
@Rahul-Balaggan hope you don't mind me mentioning you
