It seems it will be streaming on Crunchyroll. I guess I will check it out when it is released.

I am looking forward to this. I started reading the light novel and it is good.

I read 4 or 5 of the LN before giving up on it. But the first few were good, so hopefully the anime will be also.

One of my concerns is they might “dumb” it down so to speak like they did with Black Summoner. There is nothing wrong with having sex in anime, you can easily keep it PG and family friendly, but for some reason studios seem nervous about doing this for some reason.

I watched the 1st episode and it was good. I can't wait for the next one.

I'm hesitant to watch it because of the sexual assault in volume 1 (or was it 2?), followed by the victim falling in love with the attacker in the later volumes. Removing that plot point would be an improvement for me.

@HarmlessDave Oh with that I agree with you. I’m not saying that some of the changes anime’s make can’t be for the better. Take Arifrueta(sp?) for example, they took out all the ball busting and she-male adventurers from it. I’m very happy those parts were taken out.

I've started watching the anime to see if I should bother with the novels, and when I heard Banaza choose his new name I came to check if Crunchy is using JNC's nomenclature (which they seem to be doing, at least for this one instance).
I see that フリオ got adapted as "Flio", but if hearing a japanese person address someone whose name is the Spanish "Julio", I believe the author meant that one instead.

"Fliorys General Store" sounds way cooler than "Juliorys General Store" though. :-)

The 2nd episode was great. I love Rys in human form. She is cute.
