I have recently completed writing the first volume of my light novel (written in English)

Genre: psychological thriller, mystery, dark, high school, romance.

      What should I do now?

In case I want to get my novel into light (I have received excellent feedback from beta readers and so I have finally decided to proceed with the next step. But, I don't have a clear path in mind).

@Aritra-Mondal-fd8ld4s - you could try self-publishing to the Kindle store and adding it to Kindle Unlimited to build up a readership.

The translated Japanese LN publishers like Yen, Seven Seas, etc. don't publish original English LNs, with rare exceptions like the one-time contest that JNC had last year.

Also, congratulations! Many people start a project like this, but few of them carry it to completion.

You could wait for the next JNC light novel contest if you willing to wait until that happens

Otherwise I think @HarmlessDave has the right idea
