Umibe No Byoin De Kanojo to Hanashita Ikutsu Ka No Koto

Well, among all tankobon top 10 in Kono LN ga sugoi, only 3 were unlicensed and 2 of them are here on the forums but one is not suggested yet.
Which is a shame cuz it didn't only rank high but sounds pretty interesting.Umibe No Byoin De Kanojo to Hanashita Ikutsu Ka No Koto (#2)
Eng lit: "Several things I told her at a beach hospital"
Publisher: KADOKAWA
There was a "battle" a year ago. A contagious disease that suddenly hit a rural area? In the mass death of the inhabitants by the population, strange capabilities develop in young people who survived while infected. They will use that ability to fight the variants who appeared at the same time with this disaster.A year had passed since that battle, Uehara Ao visits the seaside hospital which he was once a resident.
Suddenly most of the former colleagues who were affected by the mystery of the strange disease and died out, also survived those who do not, recalling the event of that battle with the probably the only other remaining survivor of the group, Hatsuka Haruka, while Sakuya is unconscious and tied up to machine.
The group are:
Uehara Ao who loses parents and neighbors all at once with this disease in a blink of an eye.
Wakamiya Mimori motivated by revenge
Hatsuka Haruka, religious salvation desire.
Sakuya Komaki who wants to fulfill her dream of fighting like a magical girl
Yoichi Owada who wants to raise his reputation with different abilities.(I read that in the melee battle scenes, there are many cruel depictions such as meat tearing, body blowing off, blood sprays falling like rain.)
Seems that there is a bit of eroticism, yet there is also deep romance to it.
The depiction of Haruka, a hospitalized girl, sensations like sighing and body odor, tactile sensation of the sweaty skin, softness of the body, the depiction which makes her physical existence feel almost real.
However, contrary to the depiction accompanied by the feeling that it is there, she is drawn as an unreachable existence that will eventually pass through from the MC's hand in the end.It seems to a mix of action, fantasy, and romance presented in a melancholic story about regrets of the battle and desire to leave a mark, a part of yourself behind--almost to elude death.
I read a few questionable sentences that lead me to believe that there's more to the story than what I said, underlying issue related to both the main character and narration. -
Not gonna lie, did not read the synopsis, did not even read the title, saw the cover image and I upvoted.

That's how I do it. Avoid those spoilers while desiring something that looks good presentation wise. xS
I've seen the title though since it was in Kono Light Novel Ga Sugoi (now we just need a thread for the Bizarre Love Triangle one and I think we'll have all our bases covered for the top ten in Bunko and Tankobon).
Edit: I don't think the #1 finisher, Rust Eater Bisco, has a thread either.

@rahul-balaggan
Actually, a lot of these light bungei stories have stunning covers~☆
makes me wanna have them all on my shelf~ -

What if the cover ain't that cool?
Is there anything else you look at?
Well, I might suggest Bizarre Love Triangle, since it's been on my list before the ranking, but as I said I forgot what it was all about so it would take some time to collect enough info.
Rust Eater Bisco looks and sounds too shounen-y, and adventure-y for my taste, tbh.

Is there anything else you look at?The title is pretty much the first thing I look at with the cover on Bookwalker. On here, I usually just click on all the license suggestion threads without necessarily reading the title (especially if it's just Romajii). If the title isn't in text on the actual topic post, I won't see it fully on mobile. So then it's down to cover and impressions.
I do look at impressions (some people block them out from the synopsis well), but I try to avoid spoilers for later stuff in a book, so it's a balancing act. So I'm looking at those with one eye open. -_o
I actually don't give Dengeki Bunko stuff much of a look on Bookwalker because you can't look at the inserts on previews on digital storefronts.

@terrence
Well, I usually write my own synopses, which are a bit more detailed than the usual.
'cuz tbh I don't think the usual and official synopses do the stories justice.
Synopses of stuff like Risou no Himo Seikatsu & Kena no Mago have nothing to do with the actual story. (Hence, I don't think they are that spoil-ish)
Especially most of Isekai synopses, they mostly sound like this: a character died somehow then he was incarnated and he starts living his life...and nothing after that.I think impressions usually are more spoil-ish than synopses.

@rahul-balaggan No shame there, I was the same. When I saw it on the Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi list, I instantly became interested. I know they say "don't judge a book by its cover" but honestly, eye-candy goes a long way XD
