Anything related to Bookworm.
Good non-harem romantic comedy with a male protagonist.
Something which is complete and short and tells a really interesting well though out story with little filler.
-
@Lily-Garden Anything that doesn't pin the one joke in the series on the MC being a total moron.
But more honestly anything with a female protagonist that isn't romance related, so more stuff like otome heroine etc, or if it has romance then is Yuri I just find the average light novel hetro romance to tend towards icky in some way 8 times out of 10.

@Lily-Garden Anything from my wishlist and if it‘s just one series. But I‘m nearly 100% sure, there only will be your average run-of-the-mill series announced again. I would like to read something dramatic, something like My Happy Marriage for example. Just found out that The Ayakashi Hunter's Tainted Bride which I recently took a liking to is actually an adaption from a novel, I would be quite interested in reading it.
I also would love reading Tales of Reincarnation in Maydare, there is a slight touch of drama included and I absolutely love reading the manga. It‘s currently one of my most favorite manga series I‘m reading!
And since the manga announcement from Tokyopop about the manga My Contract with the Apothecary Monster, I‘m dying to read the novel and The Land of Long Night and the Last Ball from the same author.
A Cinderella Conspiracy?!, Parallel World Pharmacy and Dad is a Hero, Mom is a Spirit, I‘m a Reincarnator are quite a long time on my wishlist, yet they still haven‘t gotten licensed, so I‘m keeping my fingers crossed that this time my wish will be finally fullfilled (but honestly, I think I will be disappointed again).Anyway, where I live it will be around 2:00 a.m. when the announcements start, so I guess I won‘t hear anything about it until tomorrow morning.

If you are referring to the LN which the Netflix series was based on, it has already been licensed by Yen press and they are almost caught up to the Japanese releases (except for the last volume which is expected to release early next year if I remember right).
-
@wanderer_1204 Oh, I know Yen Press has already licensed it. Maybe I should have worded it differently, I meant something similar to it.
-
What do I want? Well, I wouldn't mind something with sexual content like Poison King. Series with overpowered male protagonists are always fine, as long as the protagonist isn't and idiot, bonus point is there is also and harem with actual development. Currently on top of my list is Ossan newbie adventurer after watching the anime.

@Lily-Garden Here's a suggestion: How about Delicious in Dungeon by Ryoko Kui? The final English paperback manga (vol 14) was just published in July, and to my knowledge there's been no official license to publish it online by Amazon or any other streaming service. Only the anime is being shown on Netflix. (There is an unofficial publication on Manga Park)
It's one of my top ten series.
-
@karasutengu Er, it's already available digitally by Yen Press.
-
Not only that, but I believe all the volumes have now been released in English.
-
@myskaros Really? I only found it in paperback form when I pulled it up on Amazon. Sorry, my bad. (I'll go back to sleep now)
-
@Lily-Garden That's correct, but @Shiny said they wanted something that was complete and D in D was the only thing I could think of half asleep. (I'll just go back to sleep now...)
-
@Lex Well, how about hoping for the manga Shinju no Nectar then? It has all the points you mentioned.
-
If you weren't able to watch the stream, the slides are all inside the spoiler in the first post!
-
No hannelore spinoff still I see :'(
-
@dragon3010 I think it's unlikely that we'd get it licensed before SSC2 comes out, no reason to rush towards it since it's going to be a few volumes in Japan but there's no dates for the sequels to release yet. Just to set your expectations for a little further out.
-
Ooh, we're getting the novel version of Lady Rose Just Wants To Be a Commoner! Fresh baked bread for everybody! 🥖
And I'm cautiously optimistic for Royal Rebound. The first novel was alright, but I do suspect the manga's got a decent chance of covering the story better than the book did.,..
-
@GeorgeMTO I mean, in Japan at least the first volume of Hannelore was released early August.
