Acquisitions Speculation - General
-
Seven Seas is doing their announcements on social media right now. First license will be a Yuri... Manga.
Now we play the waiting game.
-
Fingers crossed, maybe they won't announce more than 2 Yuri, 2 zoophile and 2 isekai titles this batch. I still have faith in you, SS!
-
@novurdim
There will be Yuri and BL for sure.
At least, Hetero one Romcom and I don't think isekai would be kinda must.
Fantasy, yeah.
isekai, they might announce one or none.
just a feeling -
2nd announcement is this manga:
Whoever said nothing's impossible never tried slamming a revolving door.
-
I think reborn as sword is the next
-
That catgirl hint all but confirms the next to be the Sword Isekai
-
-
@tremorc
Not really excited about being right, tbh lol
I know it's definitely highly requested but tbh, I tried the manga but couldn't find anything to captivate me.So far, I got nothing from last group of licenses.
Vertical ain't planning to announce anything?
It would be nice, we get along well, after all lol. -
@bloodygaikotsu we still have two more days of licensing announcements to look forward to. Maybe they will run out of Isekai series to announce so they actually have to announce something else(they won't but we can hope)
-
@dargonsunited
I have a few Isekais I may get behind but sword ain't one of them. -

A man can dream. A very far and distant dream.

Nothing for me so far. Congrats to those who've been wanting and waiting for Sword Reincarnation though. On a side note, is this our first Micro Magazine license?
-
Been nothing of interest for me either. The good news it gives me more of a chance to get through my blacklog without adding to it.
-
I'm actually glad to see the "Reincarnated as a Sword" light novel got picked up by someone. The manga has been really good so hopefully the LN will be just as good if not better. Would have loved for JNC to have picked up this title but unfortunately it didn't happen.
-
@hyperion
No, Slime came first. -
@bloodygaikotsu Oh yeah. I forgot about that one.
-
The only interesting thing for me so far is Reincarnated as a Sword. I was hoping JNC would pick it up and we could have gotten bonus short stories (maybe?) too. Still better than nothing at least.
-
Did they say whether they were doing Digital as well like some of the others?
-
@dtta The announcements themselves should say, and I believe they are doing digital-first, yes.

2nd announcement is this manga:
Very happy about Demon's Mama manga. And I know a lot of folks who will be ecstatic about Sword Reincarnation (I'll read that too). =)
