Acquisitions Speculation - General

the green death

I really loved Eva back in the 90s/early 2000s but haven’t seen it since so the book is actually interesting to mess it’ll be a good refresh, I imagine I’ll buy them.

I wouldn’t say I’m over the moon for the books but there’s lots of announcements I’m less interested in.

Side note likely of interest to no one: I did an electro punk song about Evangeleon back in the day and it was always one of the big hits of our sets. I can still remember jumping around screaming “I’m the messiah of the new age”...

So, colour me surprised, it's a whole pile of nothing again, I honestly thought SS would throw me at least one bone or smth. It has been a while since I saw literally nothing of interest in the three licensing events from different publishers in a row.

Oh well, we do have some pretty interesting new upcoming stuff from YP, SS and Vertical set for this year anyway. If only we didn't have to wait for those for so long after the announcement, why can't we just have SS or YP selection and JNC distribution method, haha...

Drone205

It saddens me that I will have to wait so long til sword one arrives, :(

Made an LNDB page for Evangelion ANIMA: https://j-novel.club/forum-link-removed

lighthawk96

@drone205 I feel the same way.

So the only thing I got from Seven Seas was "Reincarnated as a Sword". At least I will get this one but the rest were kind of dissapointing.

Yup! Fran is just too cute of a character. I really will enjoy reading about her adventures in this LN!

catstorm

Wonder when we will get some information on the last of the 4 confirmed LN and also the yet to be confirmed 5 LN.

Crimson Wise

Not Actually An Imouto Harem -> The Master of Ragnarok.

I should have seen this coming from miles away.

Terrence

We're that much closer to the last novel reveal (well, second to last if we count the 5th one) ... I hope.

THE GENIUS PRINCE’S GUIDE TO RAISING A NATION OUT OF DEBT (HEY, HOW ABOUT TREASON?) is a story about a prince of this small and weak kingdom who strives for one thing: selling out his country and living a quiet life in leisure! This one was in the top ten sellers in Japan this week I think (I think Justus was literally just looking for opinions and info on it for the video he wanted to record?).

BloodyGaikotsu

So, I make the thread on the day that YP decided to announce stuff (Wondering if they will scratch something off our lists...)
