@terrence also I wonder if I live a different world as a 10 year old girl is more accurate title as the title you have there is the small English on the side and those aren't always the most accurate of the Japanese title.

Could be, but they used this title on Twitter (and the official sites too):
"よくわからないなら異世界に転生していたようです"
Which Google translates as:
"If you do not understand it seems that you were reincarnated in a different world"
The extra English title sounds like a more accurate translation of that.
That title is also used on the Narou.

@paulnamida Yeah the title kind of have a sense, but it's allway really cryptic.
I'm pretty sure i've read somewhere that some of them ,especialy for the early works, where chose just because they sound cool like the Stay/night was chose because it was in english and sound cool. -
@doceirias
I never meant it to mean encountering monsters. What I meant when I said 'Encounter' was about Bell wishing to encounter Aizu in the dungeon.I never did say that YP's translation was inappropriate or far away from the original title. It's just that for people who don't know about the series the first thing that might come to mind when seeing the title is "A story about a guy picking up girls in a dungeon".

@harmlessdave I'm waiting for a catch up to try it, but from the blurb i get the impression that the title make less sense as the volumes goes
It's complicated, but she is not really his daughter she's an orphan completely unrelated to him that he is raising. She never considered him a parent, though he considered her to be like a daughter.

@harmlessdave Yeah i through it was like that, that why i think the title is bad, because even before we start reading we have an idea of what their relationship is gonna be, so when it made 360 it probably shock a lot of people and for some it's probably kind of creepy even more since the title keep on reminding us how the relationship start.

@terrence Charlotte... I was just about ready to murder my son for recommending that anime to me. When they finally reveal "Charlotte", my reaction was You have got to be kidding me!

The one that comes to mind is Erased. In Japanese it's Boku dake ga Inai Machi, which I've seen translated to The Town Without Me or The Town Where Only I Am Missing, which I think fit the story better but don't roll off the tongue as easily as Erased.
