Hi, I'm a volunteer librarian for The Storygraph, an app for tracking reading. I'm slowly working my way through JNC's series to make sure they're all nice and tidy in our system.
I ran into an issue yesterday with Welcome to Japan Ms Elf (light novel), specifically the translator.

      • JNC's website/API lists the translator as Shoji Izumiya only
      • the metadata in various online shops and libraries I checked mostly says 1-9 were translated by Hiroya Watanabe and 10 by Shoji Izumiya
      • the copyright page in the ebook itself lists Hiroya Watanabe even for volume 10 (which another volunteer helpfully borrowed from their library to check)

I don't know which version to trust, so I thought I'd ask here - who translated what?
I just want to make sure we have the correct data!

        Hello,

Shoji Izumiya can be credited for the translation of all 10 volumes - pen name.

Sorry but J-Novel Club does not publicly comment on any potential licensing decision or acquisitions.
