@ArtimuS-0 J-Novel Club don't comment release dates until they're ready to begin the prepub process for almost all books. So definitely nothing in the next few months for v8 let alone v9. As for v7, the usual topic is the place to check https://forums.j-novel.club/topic/3478/future-volume-release-schedule

While I get that various circumstances play a part, what would happen if a series is dropped. I mean that most likely happens right is there a way to research that. I really don´t care how long I have to wait. But since this is literally my favorite LN I at least want to know that they still plan to continue translating it. That Limbo is literally killing me especially since the WN translators have dropped it too.

@TrueTenshi JNC had only ever dropped a series twice. Once was because the Japanese publisher asked them to (the author got themselves in legal trouble). The other was because sales were just really really bad on that title. This is not one of those series that's doing so poorly (it's pretty popular) so I highly doubt it gets dropped. There's a billion things that could cause the translation to be delayed. The usual culprit when JNC was previously caught up on a series is that new releases have to be negotiated separately, and there may be delays getting an updated license in place that includes the new volume. Also highly likely if the previous volume finished getting translated more than a couple weeks ago: the translator or editor (or both) for that series has moved on to a different project, and they need to wait for them to be free again. Another possibility: there's an anime coming out soon and they want to time a release announcement to coincide with the anime, in order to maximize sales... Hmmm, that one actually sounds plausible here.

@TrueTenshi J-Novel Club have only dropped 1 LN in the past. That was at the JP publisher's request, and was because of various commentary by the author, and also coincided with the upcoming anime adaptation of said series also being cancelled.

Other publishers have dropped series though, and they essentially do not communicate anything about it. The only way to really see if nothing happens is to let years go by without anything. And I do mean years plural, as multiple series have had over a year between volumes that had already been released years ago in Japan for unexplained reasons from multiple publishers. Seeing as the last volume for Otome Heroine came out less than a month ago, one couldn't reasonably assume this was cancelled until...roughly 2028?

Well thanks a lot that does help ease my mind a bit even more so since I thought volume 9 was the last but 10 was actually released not to long ago. Again this is my favortie LN. That uncertainty and complete lack of information is just terrible for my mind. Not super surprising though with the amount that JNC atually does.
