The Spearmaster and the Black Cat

Yaritsukai to, Kuroneko
After a tear in reality pulls Kagari Shuya into a white room he discovers a futuristic interface for reincarnating in a different world. After looking through the different races and skills he unlocks a new race, Lucivault, a type of vampire with none of its characteristic weaknesses. All set to start his life in a new world, Shuya is confused to discover that he is enveloped in darkness. As it turns out something went wrong when he was transported and instead of appearing where he was supposed to, he appeared in an underground cave. Shuuya faces untold dangers, runs for his life, before finding his way out of the underground world. After escaping he meets his Shishou and begins to learn to fight with a spear. There is also a cute black cat named Rollo. This series is not your typical isekai novel/wn MC is not powerful soft-hearted with a harem and not a justice baka or evil. The world's elements itself is different and deep makes you get excited on every item, power MC
gets or makes interaction with others.I couldn't find anything about suggesting web novels sorry

@yameraremasen said in The Spearmaster and the Black Cat:
I couldn't find anything about suggesting web novels sorry
That's because generally we do not suggest web novels without light novel releases.
That said, this title does have a light novel release:
http://lndb.info/light_novel/Yaritsukai_to,_Kuroneko.It's from Hobby Japan, too, so it's easily acquirable by JNC and seems to be very much the type of title they'd pick up. (Note that there are actually 7 volumes released, with vol. 8 set to be released Apr. 23rd, 2019.)
Oh, and I think you meant to put the cover art for vol. 1 in the opening post but the image got 403'd? Here it is:
I suppose it's interesting enough to get my upvote, though it'd be nice to hear what elements specifically are of interest.

Tried reading the fan translation and while it does not seem to be machine translated, its not very good I should say for the early chapters, no idea about the later ones as I cannot make it thru the early chapters due to the weird wording of sentences and description of things leaves me incredibly confused on what is even happening at times.
Based on the summary blurb though it sounds interesting, just needs a good translation.

@sam-dukes yeah on early chapters TL says (i am not sure about this) every sentence its decent after chapter 70

@stardf29 You don't feel a limeted world almost anything has its own history people other than MC feels like they are part of the story and have emotion story explaining doesn't annoy you by telling things you already know.
Harem members don't fall of the sky and embrace our MC as far as I've read and relationships progress slowly
problem with this one is translation until chapter 70 is not good and makes you confused TL puts a note saying (I am not sure about this one) on every sentence so you might get frustrated while reading until chapter 70 -
@yameraremasen I don’t plan on reading the fan translation (I have way too many official LNs to read) and am upvoting this on faith alone. So it doesn’t really matter to me how bad the fan translation is, though it does make for a stronger case for licensing the title since the value of a good translation by JNC will be higher.

This series is up to 13 volumes now, latest release Jan 13th 2020. I like the art, some interesting looking characters in it.
