Can't upload file to original light novel contest

I'm getting an error message every time I upload a docx or PDF file to the light novel contest. It simply says "upload error try again."

Sorry to be a bother. I am having the same issue. I have tried multiple different browsers but no such luck. Similarly I am unable to submit files in both docx and pdf file types. Once again it's a loop of 'Upload failed. Please try again.'

We believe we received it and this may be an error on Google’s part.
Other than that, it may have been that too much was written in the synopsis field.

@Rahul-Balaggan Ahh synopsis, now that i read the error again. I think it was because all the hidden formatting tag got copied too. When i pasted plain text, it works.
This might happen to other people if they pasted text directly from gdocs editor or pdf file. Might want to put this in faq.
