Hello, guys so with the anime actually airing I wanted to catch up on the light novel. I thought that by getting a suscription with j-novel I would have access to all the books but it didn't. Apparently still need to buy coins to get the LN. I have a tight budget so actually paying one month and reading as much as I could in a month would have been great. But yeah I wanted to know will they be able to read with suscription later on or does with a new volume coming out things changes and we can catch up on last volume before a new one comes out. How does it work. Thanks to kind person who can let me know what is best.

        Hi,
        Welcome!
Unfortunately apothecary diaries is not on "reader's library" which means except the first part of every Volume, everything else has to be rented or purchased.
Fortunately, this series is available on Overdrive
I would recommend checking out the library near you by typing in the zip code in the link and see if you could borrow it.

With the recent change in membership scheme at JNC, catch-ups (where you could read some or all volumes of specific LNs every month of you are a member) have been discontinued. So even if the new volume is releasing here, you could just read said volume and not the older ones.
Also, the English translation is up to date. There have been no further Japanese volumes released beyond volume 16.

@Sophinnie - if you've already paid for a month, you might want to go to the Series tab and see the volume 1's for the 10 newest series that have not yet expired. For those you can read the entire volume if you decide you like it.
