Just a note that he gets 9 heroines at the end of volume 1, or the start of volume 2 (I don't recall right now). They are those former slaves I mentioned above, basically he starts building the dungeon city with them. After that the number doesn't go up, except for another 1-2 heroines. At least, that's until the part I read. No idea after that.

The premise seem nearly identical to Lazy Dungeon master, but LDM is fun so a second take on it could be cool.

@raitoiro Indeed the premise is quite similar to LDM which is why I picked it up when JNC licensed it. There are a few key points that are different though, like in LDM Keima hides his Dungeon Master status while in this LN they clearly mention it.
As you said, this is a different take about it.

@jjch102296 I can't really say for sure. I have read only up to a certain point of the Fan TL (which was really crappy). I have no idea how the story proceeds after that. I've been checking out the manga too, but it's really slow in coming out.

I agree, there's room in my library for two lazy dungeon masters if they both have interesting stories.

Btw, it looks like a new TL has picked up the WN after months of the old TL not posting anything. I don't even remember at which point I stopped reading though, it's been a while.

Just checking some old topics and I noticed volume 18 came out on 28 October 2022. I updated the first posts with this info (it still said 11 volumes 😅) and I also fixed the broken link for the first volume's cover preview image.
