Light Novel 3 and ongoing

WHY
This series does seem to go fairly slowly, but to me, secondary characters seem to get fleshed out more than a lot of books seem to. The main character really isn't OP and starts at level 1. There is also NO harem, which is unusual.

@yumenokage No, it's much more lighthearted. Just MC and his, hm, companion travelling from town to town, meeting different people and doing typical adventurer's jobs.
Sometimes dark stuff happens, but it had "well, sh#t happens too" attitude to it.

MC is just your usual guy of normal morals, without any edginess or notable weird kinks, and honestly, it's rather refreshing to read.

From what I've read, the web novel is ending at 402 chapters.
The light novel seems to still be at 3.
