Its not exactly unheard of for an author to work with more than one publisher, for example Fuma, if I remember right, is currently working with three separate publishers for 3 different series.
Still I wouldn't exactly call this a great sign of us getting more his previous work, maybe its the case that he just got sick of constantly being caught up in red tape because of his artists problems and decided to start something new else ware.
With that all being said I'd kinda like to know more about this new series, if its any good hopefully JNC picks it up.

Funny thing, Hisuji just started on this new WN right after Isekai Mahou vol 9 WN version was finished in Dec 2018 and just 8 months later, it got picked up for publishing.
I believe the new publisher is the same one that publishes Knights & Magic and JNC doesn't currently publish anything from them yet.

Hmm, considering how his other work devolved into a typical isekai with dense harem protagonist.......... I'll pass on this one.

Yeah, it started out clever and original, but I was annoyed enough by the last couple that I just read the prepubs instead of buying them.
Chunni spirit, lolis, harem, random yelling, slapstick comedy . . . not the series I signed up for.
