Alfred just wanted some time to rest and recover, but no one would LEAVE HIM ALONE!
Because of that, Alfred wished to spend time recovering in a small country village that no one knew about.
『Need a guard in Mulg Village. Wolves and boars attacking the village. Payment is food and board. *Village has a hot spring.』
「THAT’S THE ONE!」
So, the strongest wizard in the kingdom…decided on living the slow life in the country.
My Thoughts: To me it seems like it's one of those stories where the Hero goes from being "Something" to "Nothing" ! Just read a tiny bit and I believe it's going to lead to a less Series Read and More Fun Read by that I mean a series that you can sit back grab a cup of coffee and enjoy! At least those are the Vibes I get from this Series!

Seem fun, i hope it's not happening in a PC version of Skyrim tho, i need a minimum of logic ^^
Also, you should add a link to Lndb, Novel Update or Mal and the cover.

I'm still baffled that a story based on that old meme actually got published as a novel...

A lot of Narou web novels gets published as soon as they get enough page views and decent followings.

I've actually looked at and read what is available as far as the manga is concerned on this one. It really isn't all that bad and would definitely love to see the LN get an official translation. The manga too for that matter.

The meme ends up being an almost inconsequential part of the story. Yeah, him injuring his knee a bit when fighting the demon lord is a thing, and maybe he's not at his peak, but it doesn't seem to slow him down all that much. Really it just seems like he wanted to retire.

Spotlight time! A friendly bump to an older post that hasn't had any recent conversation and is lower on votes in order to draw attention to it.
