      Have been on a space opera binge recently (started with reading too much Joshua Dalzelle) and came across this obscure anime (based on LNs which were actually written by the same guy who wrote Lodoss and Grancrest).

      I thought the anime was pretty good - space opera and a reality TV show plus realistic space combat (think Expanse not Star Wars).

      What's the story with those LNs? Are they finished? Unfinished because of poor sales? Anyone knows?

        Wikipedia says 6 total novels.

        I rented the first disk of the series to see if it was worth buying... didn't buy. I have a mental allergy to "reality TV" in all forms.
