In Another World with my Smart Phone Anime
-
Does anyone know if any streaming service has picked up the license for streaming this for USA? I have been searching and can't find any news about that when the first air date in Japan is supposedly July 11th.
-
Expecting it to be picked up by Anime Strike so I can't watch it.
-
We will definetly find out this weekend probably cause of Anime Expo.
Like Fezu said this might be a strike.
-
@Fezu It's still a possibility, but the wording of this ANN article (Anime Strike Announces Full Summer Lineup), emphasis on "Full," implies they are done with their announcements. So Smartphone should be out of their grasp by that logic.
-
Actually wait you can use Anime Strike with only an Amazon Prime video subscription outside the US? I might subscribe then. Though that lineup does not look interesting at all.

You can't. Amazon Prime has about 4-5 airing shows (seems to be growing) available worldwide incl. Japan, with web streaming exclusive to Amazon.
Anime strike is US-only (also Canada, apparently) and it has Prime titles plus about ten more titles from Sentai and Aniplex which may be also available elsewhere (especially outside of US). -
Crunchyroll has a page set up for streaming this so I think they might be streaming it. I am excited!

Am I the only one who was really annoyed by the transitions between scenes.

@Eternal-Wanderer I'm with you on that matter, they remind me too much of 4-koma adaptations, that does work for those kind of material but in here it seems kind of lazy and unwarranted for

@Eternal-Wanderer It didn't bother me, it reminded me of how reading the book felt. It really felt like the book was a bunch of really tiny short stories loosely tied together until the over arching plot started to barely show its big toe.
