Realist Hero Volume 11 is already released in Japan

And here is the cover art:
I'm really eager to see more romance between MC & his waifus :D

Yes, and I am sure once the already mentioned delay the series incurred can be addressed it will start publication on the site.
-
It hurts me that I cannot buy the Japanese volumes. Digital content from overseas are always not available, despite you having an amazon account.
I cannot wait for the next volume... but... it is no use, since it takes time...
I hope J-Novel Club is going to offer bonus stories throughout the stories. So far it was definitely worth to me becoming a member to get my hands on the bonus stuff... (that is me, a hard fan of the series...)
-
yeah i hope they manage to start publishing soon, i have a lot of series i read here now but this is the one that first made me join J-Novel so i can't wait to read more :D
-
@unholyfiretruck Same for me. Though, it was the very first light novel I bought back then on amazon, April 2017. It was just released a few months before. I never expected the series to be this long and enjoyable. <3

They have had bonus stories in every volume so far.
They're good stories too. Often the bonus stories in other light novels are very short and don't add much to the main story, but the Realist Hero ones are nice stories tell you about the life of side characters like Poncho, the teacher, and the adventurer party thief.

I agree. I was afraid it would be something very short like only a handful of pages or so. The more I was surprised when I could keep reading - especially considering I owned all volumes already via amazon and just bought them again via JNC just for the bonus stories. It was absolutely worth it to me. <3
Made me wonder if there will be manga adaptions of those bonus stories too - considering how good the manga is in regards of adapting the novel almost 1:1.
From the cover of 11 I am expecting a more casual content volume with focus on the academy life of the four younglings. I am quite curious of a potential romance relationship between Tomoe and Ichiha. Maybe they even end up with Velza and Yuriga in the same class. Though I cannot tell who is shown on the cover.

At what point after a volume comes out in Japan is it considered for JNC to have begun work on it? Volume 11 was released there so recently that I'd be more surprised if a translation for it had already been started, so I'm kind of surprised people are saying it is delayed.
-
@melicans For series JNC was already caught up with, 2 months may be the average time after it's released in Japan for JNC to start on a volume. So it's been a little longer than that.

I really hope this Volume gets translated soon. Infinite Dendrogram Vol. 11 is already being translated
-
@goku-nazz Well, best guess I can come up with is Overlap versus Hobby Japan. Go figure.
-
@paul-nebeling Pls share your wisdom :D
-
@goku-nazz welcome to the forums of J-Novel Club.
Always nice to see a fellow "How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom" fan around here.
-
@goku-nazz Realist Hero was released before Infinite Dendrogram. The only guess I have as to why Dendro translation is started while Realist Hero has not is down to Realist Hero is an Overlap title while Dendro is a Hobby Japan title. Speed of processing paperwork. Nothing more than that.
-
@paul-nebeling That, or the new editor for Realist needs more time to catch up on the series. I think this is more likely than Overlap being slow with paperwork, considering they published vol.11 back in October.
