Mixed Bathing question

So just finished reading vol. 4 and really enjoyed it! Thank you so much for the work you guys are doing! Quick question on how licencing works, I know vol. 5 just came out not too long ago, is that something that fits under the current licence and will be translated as well? Or are there more hoops to go through than that?

I'm obviously not Sam, so I don't know for sure, but from one of Sam's comment that I remember seeing for a series (don't remember exactly where), it sounded like each individual volume needed to be licensed or approved as JNC goes along.
That may not be the same for all series, or I may have misinterpreted his comment. But I also have to imagine it's much easier to get the license approved for the next volume than for a new series.

@hatguy12 I was going to write something similar, but I'm also no expert.
J-Novel Club licenses individual volumes with the hope / promise that they can license the rest at a later date. It seems to have worked well so far, no cancelled series (hey me, please don't jinx it by saying that).
