Just gonna plug fault here. It is an amazing series by a creator who cares deeply about telling good stories with a dash of — insomuch as a small indie dev can afford — cinematic flair. No voice acting, no fancy graphics. Just hard-hitting writing that goes straight for your soul. I've met the fellow in person and am immensely glad to have done so. Milestone one is them getting their bearings, though it is by no means lacking. But milestone two.

Also, Japanese School Life. Damn, that's a title I haven't seen in a while. Not plugging it at all, but just found it an amusing blast from the past.
For, erm, reasons.
Not because I translated it or anything. Definitely nothing like that.

Back to fault. Thing about it is, while the creator is bilingual, I know it's written in Japanese and a separate translator handled the localization. The Japanese writing, especially in milestone two, was golden. Not sure about the localized writing. Maybe it's great though. Someone take a look and let me know!

Bahaha. I've been following them since AX... 2017? I think? The year they put up that big Silence the Pedant booth at Sekai Project and AiD was there in person. The harsh realities of indie game dev has definitely taken its toll on them though. There were a lot of difficulties behind the scenes, causing delays that were more or less beyond their control. At least they managed to get Mhakna Gramura out. Hopefully that'll keep them fed (a legitimate concern for them) until they manage to pump out their next game.
As far as I know, I believe StP hit a rather thorny roadblock and they have to wait a couple months on the resolution. In the meantime, I think they're working simultaneously on milestone 2b. If the world ever goes back to a state where international travel is feasible again, maybe I'll go buy'em some beer and see how far along they are.
