Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata
-
It's about Tomoya Aki wanted to make a dating sims and making kato megumi the main heroine for that game that others would admire!
Tomoya Aki, a male high school teenager who works part-time to fund his otaku lifestyle (anime, dating sims, and related merchandise) encounters a beautiful girl one day during spring vacation. A month later, he finds out that the girl is his classmate, Megumi, who is hardly noticeable to her classmates. Hoping to create a visual novel computer game, he turns to school beauties Eriri Spencer Sawamura for designing the art, and Utaha Kasumigaoka for writing the game scenario. Tomoya then recruits Megumi to star as the "heroine" (the main character's love interest) of his game, thus forming the development team "Blessing Software", in which the three most renowned students in the school (Tomoya, Eriri, and Utaha) work on one of the least noticeable (Megumi). The series follows their adventures in developing the game and their plans to sell it at the Comiket convention, as well as the emotional entanglements among the team.

Really love the anime adaptation of it. it's a shame that i can't read the ln because i don't have knowledge in jappanese language and I'm sure many would love to read it and this it's adaptaion and characters are popular that it even have a movie a adaptation that has a different route than the light novel because of it's popularity it also receives a visual novel adaptation titled Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata
~blessings flower~
In my opinion i think this is the only harem anime or light novel that all the girls are the best girl Kasumigaoka Utaha, Eriri Spencer Sawamura, Michiru Hyodo, Hashima Izumi and finally, the main heroine, Megumi Kato all of them are best girl of the series.some of the characters are cliché, Blonde twintail tsundere and a Black hair Yandere but in my opinion cliché are the best -
Yet another awesome story stolen by Kadokawa :/
-
Still don't know why they didn't license this in English yet... It's quite popular overall and even has anime for the west. Not to mention a movie is coming out soon too!
-
@bryan
'cuz YP editors have bad taste? -
i hope they'll license it
-
You got partnership with Kadokawa and Saekano wasn't your first license? T_T I'm sad now... There's an anime, manga that are both done and even a movie coming out! Please see if you can get it!
-
Another series that I have. but unable to read. UP vote!!
-
Licensing a manga adaptation without the original novel should be considered a crime against humanity. Boo to YP, upvote here.
-
I would definitely be interested in this series...though I know the ending and my ship did not sail (cries a little)
-
I wanted it to be licensed!
-
This is a bit old... but I too, really hope this gets licensed and translated as soon as possible.
-
@snova42 sorry to tell you but thats never gonna happen since LN got fully adapted(and i think they skipped 1 or 2 vol.)
-
I still have hope.
-
Suggested this Years ago and I still think that this series deserve to get an official license. Really love this series and tried to check from tume to time if there's any news and I'm really disappointed. Still hoping, that one day they license it
-
Considering this has as far as I remember 2 other side series which provide the other 2 "routes", so not everyone will be disappointed. There is a lot of licensing opportunities.
Yen press does appear to have a habit of using the manga as a test bed. An example I can think of the Bunny girl senpai series, but even then the wait between manga and light was less than a year.
Maybe in 5 years if the series still has a fan base they may license the light novel.... 😂 They did it for High School DXD. But I think that series is a special case.
I am not too sure if any other series has a similar appeal?
-
Is there some problem with licensor? are they asking too much money or something? Makes me wonder :/
-
@stocky5ko Yen Press gets first dibs, and when they decline, maybe other licensors can bid on it. But Kadokawa probably wants guaranteed printing since this is a major title for them, and J-Novel only prints what they know will sell well (with a few exceptions). The license also maybe be rather expensive.
-
Does Yen Press have the license for this? I'm surprised there's no official translation given the series popularity. If JNC ever get an opportunity I'd certainly support it.
-
@K-Lye As of yet, no one has announced that they've licensed this series, and we have no clue whether it will ever be licensed.

Bd is out and it's Megumi's Bday! Still hoping
